Filipe A. Batista, holds a Master in Development and International Cooperation at Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestao-ISEG; a Degree in International Relataions, Universidade Lusiada de Lisboa; aPost-graduate in International Relations at Instituto de CienciasSociais e Politicas-ISCPS; and a Course in “European Union Foreign Affairs” at Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa (FDUL).

Over the last 23 years, he has worked in regulation in the telecommunications sector, where until recently was Director of External Relations at the Portuguese NRA -ANACOM. In 2019 he joined the Portuguese Permanent Representation to the EU, where he has been Digital Coordinator since 2022, dealing with Digital, Telecom, Audiovisual and Copyright.
